Dinner Setting

This is a table setting I also modeled with Autodesk Maya. I used reference images to make each component of it. I also used a material on the wine glass to make it look like it was actually made out of glass. Then more of a matte material on the plates and table. Followed by a shiny metallic texture on the utensils.

Pencil

This was a pencil that I modeled inside Autodesk Maya. It consists of a cylinder, cone, and crimp type of shape. My traditional art background I grew up on is so important in the digital world. I am able to break complex designs into less complex geometric pieces.

Realism

In this assignment I was told to paint an object and make it look imperfect. To show every piece of dust and hair. It also needed to have a sense of depth and texture. That same feeling of being able to grab the phone right out of the picture.

Table Top

In this assignment I was told to make a still life scene placed on top of a table top. It had to consist of a light source and some textured objects. I added some highlights on the porcelain cat to give it a glass texture. Then I added a smooth texture on the fortune cookie to make the viewer fill as if they could reach out and grab it.
